Lunch & Unlearn Vol. 1 β
βYouβll never make it in private practice.β
The Business of Being an MFT: Letβs dispel the myth that private practice is just a side hustle or passion project. Explore what it truly means to build and sustain a thriving practice while staying grounded in your values.
Join us for the first gathering of Lunch and Unlearn, a refreshing, thought-provoking series led by Dr. Sahar Martinez, founder of The Process Wellness Collective. In each session, Dr. Martinez will guide us through important discussions on the deeply ingrained beliefs and practices within the therapy space that we might want to reconsiderβor even unlearn.
Monday, January 13th | 12pm | Virtual
This series is dedicated to challenging outdated assumptions, examining common therapeutic practices through new lenses, and embracing more inclusive, authentic, and effective ways of supporting well-being. Topics might range from unpacking biases within therapeutic frameworks to exploring how we can adapt practices to honor diverse identities and life experiences.
Perfect for therapists, wellness professionals, and anyone curious about rethinking mental health, Lunch and Unlearn offers a unique space to question, connect, and grow.
We will release Februaryβs Lunch and Unlearn in January. Please check back to join us for the next one, or
